Internal Training: Power Sprayer
The sprayers were one of the first products mass-produced by Diamond. Every new employee undergoes mandatory training, covering the sprayer's structure, operation, and applications. They are required to have hands-on experience with the product and must pass an assessment – assembling a complete sprayer from scattered parts – to complete their training.
Through this hands-on approach, employees gain an in-depth understanding of the product, insight into customer needs, and the ability to address customer concerns. For example, with technological advancements, sprayers now have two main types: the traditional belt-drive power sprayer and the newer direct-drive power sprayer. The modern sprayer is significantly smaller and more energy-efficient, reducing belt wear and extending its lifespan. Nevertheless, both belt-drive and direct-drive sprayers have their respective user bases.
Over its nearly 60-year history, Diamond has continuously evolved alongside the applications of high-pressure pumps and the development of sprayers and misting systems. Each internal training session is crucial in ensuring that we can assist customers in making informed choices about and properly using sprayers.
